Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Sacramento, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ2 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sacramento follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Hereβs an honest review. The other reviewers who writes stuff like amazing, best, ect obviously never had good sushi or ramen. Hereβs the good. Portion sizes are good. Prices are reasonable and the server was friendly. The not so good. Ramen was just meh. Noodles was over cooked. It was soft when ramen noodles should always be al dente. The flavor was nothing special. BBQ albacore was ok. Tempura was ok. Now the bad. The sushi was not good. You can tell the quality of the fish is a step below some of the other sushi restaurants

Incredible flavours, great variety, with great service. Prices are very reasonable considering portion sizes. Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Sac.

Food was amazing. Generous amount of noodles and THICC slices of meat. Had Shoyu and House Ramen (top bowl). Only bad thing is how tiny the parking lot is.

I had the KuKuni Ramen we also ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box, gyuza pot stickers and the Hamachi collar. All of the food was delicious. The ramen broth was creamy and flavorful. The pork belly was flavorful. The portion is generous. The pot stickers were simple, tasty and cooked just right. The hamachi collar was cooked so just right crispy skin and soft meat delicious even without and seasoning.

Service was good, miso soup good spicy edamame was good. We went as a group and the soups were not that great and chicken was burnt . The price of the food wasn't worth what we eat and very small portions. The waiter was awesome though and his service was good.
